We are talking Minolta's budget line here, the XG-A was an entry-level SLR for the North-American market in the XG line.The lens is the last 50mm f1.7 MD (without Rokkor or an X).

This is worth a few tens of dollars at best, don't sell, just slap a roll of tri-X in that thing and go out and shoot.

Sounds good I found this in my parents basement and assumed that it'd be worth money...
