Skiing. I'm alright on a bike but as soon as things get narrow or bumpy I shit myself, which kind of rules out a lot of singletrack. XC biking is pretty fun though.
Biking and everything that I do during the summer is just a past time. Skiing is what I look forward to most; it's pretty much all I really look forward to.

_MEDSKII did see some guy actually ripping some of A-Basin's easier runs on a pow day with a snow bike. Otherwise they are absolute shit.
I met a guy at Snowbasin who did a backflip on a snow bike. He crashed it, but I got the impression he does them fairly often. I also saw a guy at Snowbasin attempt a pond skim on a snow bike.
funny thread but actually a tough one for me since DH biking has been such a big part in my life, but i like skiing waaaay better. way better. but i am a lot more naturally talented on my DH bike than i am naturally talented on my skis. i always knew i was good enough on a DH bike to get some sponsors eventually, but i always knew i wasn't as naturally talented on my skis ,so skiing always like the fun/ laid back passion that i love the most, by far. that and i don't compete in skiing anymore but still do compete in comps on my DH. skiing is just the best tho, nothing else like it.
I'm sad that I can't ski but I'm super hyped for summer because I get to spend the whole thing with my friends skating and having a blast instead of going to school.

I wish I had gotten into dh. It wasn't really what it was now when I actually had bike skills. Now I can't really afford one of those bikes and I'd probably hurt myself even if I had one. Looks sick though. I was helpin with the DH single tracks at the mountain I work at last summer. Saw some people shreddin hard. Def seems like a good way to keep the summer blues away.

have you ever even seen the full suspension snow bikes? I watched a dude ripe tree runs with me going as fast as he would on a regular MTB, those things are sick if you ride em like that.
Both are fun, but skiing is just so much better. You can control yourself on skis in a much better way, and that brings in so many more possibilities. All through bike season I cant stop thinking about skiing, but all winter I don't think about biking at all. Both of them are lifestyle sports, but for me skiing is absolutely the shit.
I know there's not many around here that do it, but I loveee to climb in the summer as well as biking. Great workout for your whole body and you get to be outdoors the whole time
