Who is the best rail skier? Urban/park

After partly cloudy came out, will wessons opening segment stayed with me as probably the most memorable urban segment. He fuckin slayed it. The fish and jibs edit that just came out ( http://news.lineskis.com/category/line-team-news-2/ ) shows just how easily this guy whips out the craziest tricks in the park. What are your opinions on the best rail skier of all time?

tim mcchesney needs to be mentioned more in these kinds of threads. everyone always brings up the stept guys, will wesson, wally, ahmet, b&e, and lj but somehow timmy always gets left out of the discussion, dude rips urban harder than just about anyone, and everything else pretty damn well too

if you're saying he's 3 or 4 years ahead of everyone, I'd have to disagree, style wise he's ahead of the game. But technically, I'd say Jesper and Clayton, even sean j are the same if not better than him

Casabon, Will, LJ, Ahmet, Clayon, and a handful of Euros I can't name off the top of my head...

So hard to call, some are more technical, some are more stylish and bangerific. I don't know if there truly is a "best", but these are the ones I've always considered to be at the top of the rail game.

very true. the wallisch project had some absolute bangers from tom. some of the best urban shots ive ever seen by far. tons and tons of good shots and tricks to call out in that movie, but above all else, what stands out to me the most is that he looks so damn casual on all those insane features and tricks. he literally makes it look easy. that to me makes him the " best" urban park rail skiier. so many good people out there these days who can do basically all the same tricks and all hit wacky crazy features, but alot of them looks like they are trying hard to get the shot, witch they are of course, but when you watch wallish , he makes things look sooo easy, it almost makes me think i could go out there and hit some of that shit. i know i cant haha, but damn, he is the king at making shit look fucking effortless. thats my two cents haha.

What Casabon does in terms of style and creativity is ahead of the game, he's definitely influenced a ton of skiers. As for tech, sure he's really technical and he does stuff really hard to do, but you can't compare his skiing to someone like Wesson, Wallisch, or Hatveit. To me, it's like if you'd compare a skateboarder skating tranny and another one skating ledges and manual pads, one is focused on flow and style, while the other one is focused on doing hard tech tricks.

Shea Flynn is no where near the level...at all...

Wallisch for days, undeniable nobody can really touch him with tricks and style, except for LJ, but lacking the same style..

in park, hatveit & wesson, there's just no match for the amount of tech&creativity they bring to the railgame

urban techrails LJ, urban tech tricks wesson&wallisch, urban balls the whole stept crew, wallisch, LJ as well


if you had to combine overall park, style, creativity, sketchy urban rails, ballsy urban rails, and tech tricks on urban stuff it's probably wallisch because he's a beast, but separating those categories I think I'd vote for wesson & hatveit, just cuz they be crazy on those rails

Andreas Hautveit is super crazy as well. He does way crazier tricks in the park than in urban, but urban he's still fuckin nuts. one of the best as well for sure
