KD is a great player and I've heard other things about him being a stand up person off the court as well.

Compare his speech to an interview with Lebron the same night about how he felt about KD winning MVP instead of him

I'm paraphrasing but it went something like "I played well enough to win MVP this season, but the team was too up and down over the course of the season and if you're team isn't consistently winning you can't win MVP'

Oh really lebron? You didn't win MVP because of your team? Good to know you giant douche bag

No. Kobe is Kobe. Lebron is Lebron. That's why there are sides and always will be. Lebron has his statistics and Kobe has his. Kobe, statistically at the same career length as Lebron is uncanny. The fool laid out an 81pt game. Durant is a great player. He more than likely will be the new 'face' (whatever the fuck that is) of the NBA but Lebron will be talked about how Kobe is talked about. Why do you think Kobe, Lebron, and Durant dominate Nike sales or any athletic company sale for that matter. The 3 players are THE TOP. Kobe isn't even playing...At his age and his calibur, the guy will not be passed by Lebron.

Good to here somebody give a speech with some sincerity. Seems like too many times it's all for show. You could tell he meant it and was honestly grateful for everything he has and the people around him.
