Park Building Advice Needed

I'm planning on using my spare time this summer to build my own park features at my house this summer. I live on a farm with plenty of hills, so I figured I'd give it a shot. First question- Have any of you ever had experience with building wooden features like they have at Carinthia, and if so, I could use some advice/suggestions. Second- Where do you all think would be a good place to get some actual rails or PVC that wouldn't be expensive? I appreciate any help.

I have no expereienxe with wood but tbh I'd stear clear of them. You gotta like sand em and then put some kind of wax on or something. Idek. But for pvc home depot are th3 obvious ones but you can sometimes go to construction sites and they will just give you spare tubes. Ive gotten lots of pvc that way.

As far as your second point. There really isn't a cheap place to buy real rails.
I found a 23' flat bar on craigslist for $120 which was legit cheap. Used it for half a season as is and then cut it and re designed it but it worked. I've seen other rails on CL but not very often and rare that they'll be anywhere near you.
You can buy steel tubing and ancor it to 2x4 or a 4x4 with bolts. That will be solid. You could make a bullet proof box as small as 4 inches wide or as big as you want with the same method. Honestly would be as strong as you'd need it if done right.
If you can find any decent piece of metal you can build a rail with it and use wood framing. Like I said you have to do it right but you can make it solid.
For legit rails the only cheap way is to build them. Find somebody with a welder or buy a cheap welder. With new steel you can do a 14' flat rail 1.5' tall for $100.
All depends on how legit you want them to be. If you grab a cheap welder might not be a bad idea. Once you figure it out and have built some decent rails sell some to your friends or something. OR just make a bunch of ridiculous shit.
Combo that with a good drop in or drop ins and you could have the raddest backyard park on NS.
I'd recommend putting in the time and building it solid even if it's a small pvc rail. If you build it right it won't break, it'll feel nice and solid, and it'll just be better.
