This thing is awesome, I liked it way more than POC and other hard-shell back protectors I have used.
It is the soft/flexy kind that gets hard when you hit it.
It comes with shoulder straps that are removable, but I've found it works best to use it without the straps and just wear a tight under armor over it
It's a size L, which fit me at a little less than 6' pretty well.
