Ski resorts are where college degrees go to die

So I heard this recently and got me thinking. Anyone NS out there managed to do seasons and actually use their education/degree for a better than minimum wage job? What do you think is the best job when doing seasons?

Well 7 years ago I responded to this still working in the ski industry. I’ve been out of the ski industry now 4 or 5 years and used my degree (which was ski area related) to find a higher paying, less stress and less hour career.

nice, yeah these days just getting a remote job and moving close to the resorts is the move rather than bumping chairs

I mean I wasn’t bumping chairs, but still, upper management in the ski business is a lot of hours and stress and a similar position away from the ski business pays more and is less hours and stress. Sure I don’t ski 100 days a year, but that’s a take away I was willing to make.
