Why slide rails?

Why is it cool to slide a rail? It took me literally five minutes in the gravel in my back yard to learn. Enlighten me.

Yeah the first guy was right its only cool if someones watching. and as for the rest of you that are trying to defend your lameass excuse for being quote on quote 'gnarly' Thats cool for you. Im really happy, but i hope you nutt it next time you try your rails. :)
