louie.miragsYou forgot to add you have a 3.5 inch cock.. proportional to your frame size
louie.miragsI lost 65lbs hiking and watching what I ate. I owe a lot to kale shakes, going gluten free, and the rogan podcast for tips. I realized gluten was hurting my stomach, giving me leaky shits and causing inflammation.
Dustin. You didn't lose 65 lbs because you stopped eating gluten. If I watch one more fat girl eat a gluten free pizza I'm gonna go insane.
louie.miragsI definitely have a gluten problem and so do a lot of people. I eat two pieces of pizza now, I'll shit out pellets in 20 minutes and feel full until monday. Yeah, lots of people fall for those mainstream diets. All that For me it's legit. Regular white bread these days is a far cry from multi grain healthy bread. You want to keep eating poor man's food, go ahead. Makes me feel inflamed. I know my body.

-benedettoWell you can't lose weight eating American cheese sandwiches on white bread and cheese pizza. Direct your anger else where, that's healthier also.
Dustin. You actually can, it's also been proven just for the sake of argument.

louie.miragsOh yeah plus exercise and a balanced diet of course. Not just not eating gluten. Get carbs from yams, not pasta for example.
Dustin.Yes. This is what I'm referring to. Gluten isn't likely making you fat, excess calories and lack of exercise definitely are. The new gluten craze has led to a plethora of completely unhealthy people turning to items like gluten free pizza and gluten free pancakes with light syrup in my wife's office and it's astounding to me that they think they're going to see results. I'm not suggesting that it's bad in any way, but it's direct correlation to weight loss is questionable at best. Simply by virtue of the foods gluten is found in, I feel like eliminating it from your diet would force you to eat quite healthily anyway. Honestly though, that uncontrollable shitting probably helps with weight loss too so it's not a total loss is it :D
One of the guys on our ski team had a serious gluten allergy, so we had to be careful to avoid an uncomfortable trip to the hospital when we ate out with him. It was way more serious than cramps and diarrhea unfortunately. Dude had it rough in my opinion, pizza and beer fucking rock.

*DUMBCAN*GLUTEN FREE DIET IS 100% BULLSHIT IN 99% OF PEOPLE.
The 1% have Coeliac disease.
Gluten free food has pretty much exactly the same calories as everything else.
People who are on gluten free diets to lose weight are almost always deficient in fibre, thiamine, calcium (no cereal -> no milk), B12, phosphorous, zinc and niacin.
Fibre is important for your digestive system, but it also protects against CHD, diabetes and certain cancers. People on GF diets get on average around 5g of fibre a day, non GF about 14g. The NHS recommend you 18g, if you're losing weight 18g should be firmly in your sights. Eat wholemeal bread, lots of oats etc.
Low calcium can lead to bone diseases.
The only reason people experience weight loss on a GF diet is that they cut out desserts and snacks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think doing that is exclusive to people on a GF diet.
Bottom line is, if you haven't been told to by a doctor (like, a proper doctor, not Web MD), EAT GLUTENOUS FOOD. It's what foods you eat, not the name of the diet that will make a difference.
If you do, you're a retard.
Source: biochem parts of my degree, my sister and mother have coeliac. Fortunately I don't, it's hell.
Toasty. My reaction while reading that first line..
But yes, used to be fat. Now im not and i can concur, deff always dtf with the lady.
.Andrew.I saw first hand a before and after, and daaaaaammn this kid is fine now.
louie.miragsPeople are such haters. I don't need to go to a doctor for him to tell me shit. I know my body. If I eat cheap ass pasta or bread i feel full for days. Not just a few hours. So uncomfortable. Most of the time leads to a diarhea or constipation. Only food that does that. I'm not 100% gluten free, I eat clif bars and cereal occasionally. If you want to keep defending poor people's food that's cool. Most people are eating cheap white bread and boxes of $1 pasta. That food has ZERO goodness in it. I get carbs from foods like yams or some granola. And you're saying if someone doesn't eat gluten most likely they don't have milk? You mean the same milk that is so overly pastured that it barely has all the natural enzymes in it? Yeah, you can get those benefits else where.
Tl; dr pictures of your sister or GTFO
XtRemE11and biggest thing is stay active, standing up and even just moving around all day vs sitting all day makes a HUGE difference, over a week, month, year, and so on, when that becomes a habit, you'll drop weight and your health overall will improve. that and just do plenty of physical activity. cardio is good, but muscle building exercises keep your body burning fat.

*DUMBCAN*Remember what works for you isn't going to work for everyone. Saying you lost weight because you cut gluten is complete nonsense, there is zero (0) (NOTHING!!!!!) scientific evidence supporting you. Sure, plenty of anecdotal evidence, but scientific research points at other things such as skipping desert to avoid gluten. {1;2} Normally, when coeliacs start going on GF diets they actually gain weight.
As I said, for 99% of people, going gluten free is 100% wrong. If you're in the 1% but don't want a real diagnosis, your call to put yourself at risk of cancer (particularly lymphoma){3}, osteoporosis{4}, lactose malabsorbtion{5}, etc. Just don't preach to others.
I think I need to write this in bold to all you who won't read this because discussions with louie.mirags have become a petty argument.
Don't think I'm shouting angrily through text, I'm just trying to make it more obvious. Read in a very slightly Scottish accent.
Going gluten free is not, and will not, be the answer to anyone who does not have coeliac disease. Other forms of gluten sensitivity are highly disputed. Evidence that gluten free diets lead to weight loss is misleading, the weight loss is caused simply because people on gf diets don't eat as much. Unnecessarily going gluten free can cause osteoporosis and lactose intolerance. It can also cause poor muscle growth. When people talk about diet they almost always overcomplicate, gluten free is such an example. A simple balanced diet is something people are refusing to accept as something that works, this is almost entirely down to the marketing drivel trying to sell you the latest diet book from a nutritionist.
Did you know that 'nutritionist' is not a protected term in most of the US, Canada, UK and Australia? Basically, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, sans-qualification. Or in many cases, sans-education. A friend of my mother, Ben Goldacre, wrote the popular book 'Bad Science', which describes this well. Check his TED talks as well, the guys an attention whore but he's damn good at the public speaking thing.
Here's a general rule when seeking advice on the internet - if something claims extraordinary results, it's lying. If it wants money, it's a scam.
First bit is right 99% of the time. The money bit, 100%.
Just remember, simplicity is king. Why should you believe me? Most of what I said you where taught in elementary school. The rest is referenced.
Now finally, to Louie.mirags:
I challenge you to find me one, undisputed, paper that supports the theory that GF diets cause weight loss.
louie.miragsWoah man i was never trying to argue. This is a discussion forum, people are going to have different opinions. You opened up saying what works for me might not work for other people. Well, this thread asked who has lost weight and any tips. I was saying eat mostly natural and for me not eating gluten worked. Then, I pointed out I do eat some gluten. I meant to not eat overly processed food like cheap bread and pasta. I'm not on desktop so i cant bold this :( I know to make you feel better you like proving people wrong about mainstream ideas. Thats fine, we all like making stupid people look bad. However, you can't tell me that pizza and pasta doesn't make me bloated and constipated. It has ZERO nutritional value for you.
So, maybe somebody here who is fat hasn't realized yet that pizza and garlic knots is not a good lunch. That a salad with ground beef with some vinegarette as dressing is a way better option and taste slamming. No processed gluten (hamburger bun) in there. No need to type in bold to dispute that.
