Bomb proof bindings?

I am looking to buy new bindings and looked through brands like marker,Rossi, and atomic. Any suggestions on a tough light weight park binding that is also visually pleasing?

youll be fine man, marker gets a real bad rap on here because of how shitty the squires and some of their bindings are, but for most skiers the griffons and jesters are a great choice. i personally only ride fks/ pivots but im 6'3" 215 pounds, ski pretty hard, and prefer the driver toe, but for your size and level, griffons would be perfect.

b-kuli thick peak 15s are the same binding just with a din range that will work for lighter people.


The 15 and 18 were the same binding with a different din range. I only ski mojo / peak / etc now. You can find them for low prices if the attack is a bit more than you're willing to pay. They will be branded as Tyrolia, Head, Elan, 4frnt, Fischer... probably missing a few others but they are all the same binding. I'd recommend the Attack 13 OP, but the mojo / peak 15 would also work.

Found some used STH 10 bindings...are these still relevant/good bindings? I'm 5'11" and 165 if that is relevant

The sth 10 is not actually a sth binding. Its actually just a z series binding. Z series will not be good for park or harder use so no pass on those.

If you are looking sth go for the new sth2 13/16 or you could go sth 12/14/16 from previous years which all feature the driver toe. The sth 12os has the same heel as the others but features an oversized z toe which I have found to not hold up great to hard use, so stick to the driver versions.

I think everyone knows they kick ass, most are just sick of everyone saying they are the end all be all.

I really dont care on bindings. As long as they arent shit like the nx series or marker free 10s

i think people are sick of people recommending an 18 din binding when someone is looking for a 13 din binding.

I use the tyrolia peak 18x's. I don't really see a difference in the weight of the binding and don't really even see how the weight really affects skiing unless is a substantial amount. They're heavier, but I have never broken a pair or had any issues at all with them. I seriously recommend them.

if anything I think that shows that NS is not fickle actually. People are relising that there are other bindings out there which to be honest work as well if not better. I think its good actually that people are discussing things like this and its not like a couple of years ago where it would just be FKS end thread.
