Replying to Making skeez

I am thinking about making some skis this summer. I have to basic consept down of a core with fiberglass on both sides and ptex or something like it on the top and bottom. Then you put it in a sketchy ass firehose pressure mold.

but I have some questions...
the place I am getting my info from is a little old so I was wondering what the best core materials would be and how graphics are done and all that. Im more worried about making a good light weight ski that is durable though.


so if anybody has tried this and has any advice. Also if anybody has any good contacts for smaller less corporate manufactures. Im not realy thinking in terms of marketing or selling a lot realy. But it would probably be a good thing to think about.
