Sometimes in the summer i put my ski gear on and sit in front of the AC and close my eyes and pretend im skiin to get rid of seasonitis

captainslackWhen i listen to music i imagine myself in an edit. All the clips are there in my head, including the ski lift time lapse and the clipping into my bindings shot. such a sick edit every time, unfortunately i can't do any of the tricks i imagine and I hate waiting around to do filming so i never get to make these edits


Sadly, I do this every day when I listen to music. I tend to listen to music that fits well with my imaginary edits.

During the off season I get really hyped up from watching edits and expect to be amazing when I get back in the hill.. Then reality hits :(

When I was a kid, I used to do tree runs in race skis. I also sprayed the lift queue and cut in between their legs to get to the front. yup, I was a cunt.

I do like half of these haha. Especially imagine myself in an edit and do rail tricks on curbs and rails and other stuff. Lip on blind 2 and 4 has been my recent favorite. Sometime I just do 3s and 5s and 7s just on the ground and people think I'm really weird.

Hahaha no way, my mom used to take me sledding on that hill when I was just a wittle guy. Greenbriar Elementary ftw

My confessions:

I enjoy snaking people.

I hate goggles.

I spent all my college grad money (including savings bonds from my deceased grandfather) on ski gear.

At my bellman/valet job, I constantly lie to tourists about conditions, where the best skiing is, etc, to keep them away from the areas I like to ski.

...and I ripped a wicked fart in Dumont's Tundra just before opening the door for him.

I can't skate worth shit, but when me and some buddies go o the skate park i hit the rails like im on skis in just my shoes. like 270 on, mad switch ups, 410 off. I can not do any of these on actual skis.

I started at a young age skiing, I snowboarded for a few seasons after it became the popular thing to do. I came back to skiing when twin tips showed up.
