On3p FT or Jmos?

I'm 5'8'' 170 looking to buy my first pair of skis. I plan on having multiple skis in the future for different conditions and what i want to do but for now im just looking to get my first pair of skis to progress. I recently switched over from snowboarding this year and i've been skiing on my dads 162 Solomon enduro skis. I've done a lot of research and I really like what i hear about On3p so I really want to buy a pair of their skis. As the title says I have a choice between the 171 FT or the 176 Jmos as those are they only sizes available right now in those skis that i can find online. I know one is more park oriented and the other is more of an all mountain ski. With the sizes available is there one I should just rule out? Any feedback I could get on what ski to pick would help so much!

To be honest I would just buy a cheap pair of skis to beat on your first year, then buy a nice pair after you really learn to ski park. Thats what I did last year. I skied from age 2-8 then snowboarded for 8 years.

I bought a pair of Bluehouse Antics for cheap and absolutely destroyed them re-learning how to ski. This season I bough some a Filthy Riches and I'm really glad I didn't learn how to ski with them. They are definitely bombproof skis, but learning how to hit rails is going to quicken the aging of your skis.

I'd suggest you buy some Surface Blanks or something similar that you won't care about wrecking. I got a scape in the bottom of my FRs and I almost cried. Invest in some good bindings this year and then put them on your new skis the year after.

^ This, I started park on rentals even then went to the FR after a few seasons and once i had become good enough to warrant buying a pair!
