DeebieSkeebiesnot to mention video games are the least intense, adrenaline creating things on earth. ive gotten stoked playing video games, but not to the point where i felt like i just skied something burly.
For sure. I used to play a lot of video games as a kid but in between other stuff. I'd jump on the trampoline, ride my mini ramp, hit dirt jumps for like 8 hours of the day in the summer and play video games for a few hours. Now I rock them out at night. I like call of duty even. It's a fun game. It's gone down hill but it's still fun.
That said it doesn't have anything to do with sports at all , and definitely nothing to do with action sports. It does however fit into the demographic that X is always trying to reach.
Would be a lot cooler if they had a skate tournament, thps, or dave mirra. But it's not as much about relating the tourny to the contest as just adding something that.
The xgames are like zumiez. They're built around the sports we enjoy, but they don't make their money off of core athletes in the sports, they make their money off gapers and their families.
