Hey guys im looking for a affordable eos camera, I already have a gopro. Im just looking for higher performance camera. I was looking at the cannon eos rebel t1i, my price range is about $350. Any suggestions??
I can speak from experience that the t1i is a great starting PHOTOGRAPHY camera. Emphasis on photography as it only shoot 720p at 30 fps which is not great for video.

I would say that 720p is good enough for the filming that im gonna be doing, and i would rather have a higher fps then a higher pixel count. Because i thought that 1080p only came in like 15fp or a lower number than 30?

If you plan on slowing down any footage it will look real choppy. and yes, I believe the 1080 shoots at 21 fps. I feel really limited at what i can shoot because of the fps so if I were in your shoes I would drop the extra bit of cash and get a t2i/t3i as it will be better in the long run.

Just get a used t2i. Its in your price range and it can do much better for video than a t1i

t2i takes video in 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 60fps. Definitely go on ebay and look for a used or refurbished t2i over a t1i, you'll easily be able to get a t2i for 350$ or less. There is a huge improvement between the two. WAY worth it to go with the t2i.
I agree with the previous posters, worth going for the t2i or t3i if you can over the t1i simply for video. Got myself a used T3i for a local sale at 400$ with kit lense and extras not too long ago.
My advice is look around NS threads for camera sales. Also look on your local craigslist/kijiji, if theres nothing post a wanted ad usually you'll get some hits of cameras that weren't posted.
another vote for t2i had mine for a long time now still going strong matched with magic lantern and a rode mic and the right lens and home made steady cam some good shots have came out of it.
