Yet another stupid ass computer question from jordan

Ok so when I;m on AIM, and i get a new message, it doesn't blink and its pissing me off. It will not blink and i have tried to fix it numerous times. Idk what the fuck is wrong, does anyone have any suggestions?

umm, re-configure the 105.54 DNS and/or A105 port to 3326.1 BUT thats only if you are on a 105C server OTHERWISE its DNS 703TNC port.
