Not Using brakes with Marker Squire Problem

So i recently bough a pair of skis with marker squires with no brakes. I didn't think it would be a big deal but when a put the skis on they didn't fit right. It looks as though the brake served as the heel plate?? If there is anyway of fixing this without buying a pair of brakes please let me know. ( i put a link to a video of it below)

you could be like adam delorme and use a couple pieces of cardboard under your heel.

put brakes on your skis, you could seriously hurt someone with out them

Use your brain....cut out block of wood, cardboard, anything plastic that'll fit under there.

Just something to put upward pressure on your boot from the bottom of the ski, so that the binding can put downward pressure on your boot at the same time, therefore taking that play shown in your video.

go to a local ski shop they will probably hook you up with a free brake, its safer and you don't have to deal with putting in card board every time you ski

the marker brakes are so cheap at the end of the season that im sure you will be able to find a pair for virtually nothing / free. You might as well......

Put brakes on your skis. Seriously they're thirty bucks, small price to pay for your bindings to work correctly, and a run away ski could really hurt somebody.

if you ever plan on using these on the mountain, with other people around, get brakes

Otherwse, if its a trasher ski for backyard or urban, a wooden plank will work, for precise fabricating, remember that standheight of the heel has to be the same as your toes :)
