GeorgiaJibberApush is considered one of the hardest ap's at my school, its up there with calc and physics. I think that is due to the fact that our teacher gives us two grades, tests and essays. So there are no fillers like homework or classwork, just big grades.
it is considered one of the hardest courses at my school too but our class was not graded like yours - it was done traditionally with homework, quizzes, tests, essays, etc. it remains one of the classes with the highest curves on it and yet, besides the metric fuckton of textbook reading, i found the curriculum rather simple. it's just memorization, really, and there is little critical thinking. i find a course like AP physics much more challenging (apples to oranges, i know, but that's not the point) because it's not just about what you know, it's about how you apply what you know.
i got a 5 on APUSH last year with minimal effort or studying. we'll see come august how i did in physics with the same routine.
