Replying to Let's talk about the Splash Page

It's been some time since you guys changed the splash page... and I've tried, tried so hard to like it... but I can't.

It just looks amateurish. The zoom and pan makes it feel like a windows movie maker slideshow, and the links to the "Hot Items" feel out of place.

Overall, I think it makes the content look bad, and, in turn, reflects badly on NS.
