The Shaun White of skiing?

I was with my snowboarder friends today and they were bitching about Shaun white and how he represents the worst things in snowboarding and they asked me if there was a skier like him and I couldn't think of one off the top of my head. I've never really paid as much attention to it as other people but now I'm curious. Who do you think is a Shaun White kind of guy in the skiing world?

SkiThe603in the Vice freeskiing video (which was fucking horrible) someone said Tom Wallisch was the Shaun White of skiing, and i'm inclined to agree. not happy about it, but there you are


in terms of dominance. but in terms of personality they are worlds apart, look at tom at the bottom of a run, even when he is in 9th he has a huge smile and is just stoked on skiing.

lineskis413iv had buddies that have skied with tom wallisch who say he is a huge jack ass, this is just second hand knowledge, but the guys who have told me this are decent guys. granted i still wouldn't put him anywhere close to shaun.


Yeah and if you have a bunch of gapes constantly trying to ski with you, you would probably get a little upset too

Anyhow, what is it about my post that doesn't make sense? Have you seen Shaun's YT channel? It reminds me of Lenny Kravitz.

Anyhow, White should end up with no sponsors and on drugs if everyone here is right and that he is a huge jackass.

I skied with Tom last season down at perisher. He was honestly so nice and always had a massive smile on his face.

Nick goepper is similar in actual skiing because nick and shaun are very good but they aren't as stylish. Nick isn't a dick though so they are different personality wise

either Jon Olson or Simon Dumont. Im not sure about Simon but i guess my buddy saw him pushing his way through the lift line and telling people to move because he was "Simon Dumont".

Jon has given our community two of the best competitions ever – JOSS and JOI.
Besides, I never saw Jon posing on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine wearing tight pants.
