is this a good idea? will i be able to whirly bird anymore? will i keep my whirly wings? all need to be answered.

you need to be more specific... which skis are you talking about? One thing is to go up in size from a powder heavily rockered ski to a cambered ski, much different than the other way around!

Also 150cm might already be too short for you! So what's your size and which skis are you talking about... without that, no chance to get any help!

For the same kind of ski, probably won't be a problem if you think 150cm is short, if you think the size is good and you are not going from a less rockered to a heavily rockered ski then probably too much of a jump!

Should be fine depending kn skill level and height. Measure out 17 cm... It's really not that much. Just about 8.5cm added to tip and tail depending where your mounted

problem is that most of the time longer skis are also stiffer! would be good if the OP could be more specific...
