*CUMMINGS*This thread is rad. I'm not getting the hate for American Idiot; it was the first album I ever owned and I still think it holds up fairly well. Yellowcard was the shit, and Fall Out Boy is still so damn catchy.
Idk. I grew up listening to their earlier stuff. American idiot was a whole different thing. To me personally it meant that green day was dead.
I mean anyone can listen to anything, I'm just saying how I felt. I think having that be the first album you had makes a big difference than listening to a group for a while, being a big fan, and then having the band make a dramatic change.
