Anyone who lets you come into their store and request boots to try on normally lacks the bootfitting knowledge necessary to ensure a proper fit. If the shop you went to has a reputation solid bootfitting, and they fit you in the boss then I would say go for it.

Ps. I'm American, but my grandfather was born in holland, all I got was the hereditary baldness, not the 6'5" height of all my Dutch relatives.

I’m 5’7” short. Here in America my family is under 6’ but my relatives still living in Holland and those who’d move to Australia are all over 6’.

I would definitely get the help of a bootfitter when buying boots. I've been in a few boots that have felt comfortable when new and as the season went on, they packed out and became far too loose. A boot fitter will get you into a proper fitting shell and if there area few fit complications from there they can definitely modify the boot for ya.



As far as Dalbello goes, I'd say they make a good quality boot across their lineup. I wouldn't hesitate to buy their boots as long as the model fits.

The Boss is a pretty wide boot and seems like its way heavier than other boots with the same width. You have a real wide foot? (A,B,C,D,E)
