Does anyone like blues pianists or blues in general?

For 15 years I have been playing classical music on the piano and I wanted to know if anyone enjoys playing blues on the piano? I was never taught how to play blues but it seems very fun to play.

My favorite blues pianists are Otis Spann, Sunnyland Slim and Pinetop Perkins.

I don't play the piano, nor am I a big fan of any specific blues pianists. But I like the blues. So I can contribute in the least possible way to this.

Put the video URL between brackets like with images but instead of ing use video and /video. I'd show you but it just hyperlinks and won't show up (I think).

He’s no Jeff Beck and doesn’t play straight ahead blues but I still could listen to him all day long.

You gotta start somewhere. And I was always taught to play a very specific way. Keep a straight back, blah, blah, blah. The whole process was bland.


Blues can be a lot of fun to play and you can really get into it.

My dad used to play Stevie's whole discography for days. I had a VHS tape of all his music videos to one of his albums (can't remember which one).

As a kid when I was forced to go to church.

I completely forgot about Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac album. To be honest I never really liked Fleetwood Mac but this album is amazing!

Very unfortunate that people come to know Fleetwood Mac by their later attenuated pop albums. Peter Green was the real deal!
