I was building a 17' one this style back in 06/07 but ended up not having the time and gave the drop in away. That said I feel like this would be far more fun to sesh than just a flat rail. I built mine with the intention of having a dfd and down rail built on it. Depends if you have the yard space, some tools, a bunch of 2x4s and some free time.
really wouldn't be that insanely expensive. obviously wouldn't need ply on the sides but I wasn't going to frame it out in 2x4s.
I just think having some flowy down options all summer would be the shit.
Just a thought. Do it or dont, it doesn't really matter. Just was thinkin and shit.
