Somebody should build a drop in like this

I was building a 17' one this style back in 06/07 but ended up not having the time and gave the drop in away. That said I feel like this would be far more fun to sesh than just a flat rail. I built mine with the intention of having a dfd and down rail built on it. Depends if you have the yard space, some tools, a bunch of 2x4s and some free time.


really wouldn't be that insanely expensive. obviously wouldn't need ply on the sides but I wasn't going to frame it out in 2x4s.

I just think having some flowy down options all summer would be the shit.


Just a thought. Do it or dont, it doesn't really matter. Just was thinkin and shit.

that's actually what my initial design was for my summer setup. But it was going to be way too expensive

I mean it would probably be double the cost of a regular drop in but drop ins are pretty cheap to make.

You can frame the whole thing with 2x4s. Maybe use 4x4s for the verticals if you're ballin.

Damn that's legit. Makes me wish I finished my 17 footer. I wouldn't have had anyone to shred with though.

Honestly something like that is totally doable if you have the space too.
