Front flips

i have learnt to front flip but some times my ski's unclip on the take off so i carry on the flip and land on my in boots on the landing and slide down on my boot while my ski remains on the take off why is this and some times i land them fine i know its not my din setting for sure could it be the way i take of help newschoolers?

Well, the obvious thing to do is go to a ski shop and let them check your bindings out, or try and tighten them yourself.

Be careful with this if you don't know what you are doing, it can be very dangerous to mess with your bindings.

Unless you are setting the rotation 5 feet before the lip, it's your bindings.

This happens to my friend all the time. It's actually rally funny cause he'll just frontflip, and his skis will be sitting there on the knuckle and he is just running down the landing. Wish I had the vid. Anyway, we found out that he wasn't popping enough, and he wasn't using his legs enough.
