Title says it all. Looking for good legs for filming that are sturdy and will do the job for filming horizontal pans without tipping or being too lightweigh to be in a windy shot.
Ehhh... doubtful I think it wouldn't do what I need. I need something bigger. And a little more costly would preferred so that I know that I am getting my money's worth.
The 055 are a step up, the 190s are the most basic legs. Might as well get the cheapest though unless you wanna spend 300-400 and at that point you might as well get a new head.

So by this I am inferring that the 190's are the way to go for the time being?

Yeah. You need something worth AT LEAST 5000$. a 4400$ tripod just sounds too cheap, you're totally right.
Get a tripod from the Russian Cosmodrome. That aught to give you all the weight capacity you'd ever need, and you can probably get one pretty cheap, too. The Russians are always down to sell old soviet tech for a few rubles.
