I didn't opened bindings yet, but what I don't understand the most is why there is din on the front of the boot? if the spring is on the rear
if I'm right

there is a spring inside the toepiece. when you set the DIN on the toepiece it sets how easily your toe will release. The same thing we the rear DIN and the heelpeice.

ehh i'm pretty sure there's a spring in the front too, but i may absolutely be wrong. if not, i know for a fact you can get released out of the front and back so there's some sort of device that keeps you in.

I could spend a while and explain the functionings of the binding, but it's a bit different for every binding. plus i'm lazy. find an old pair and take them apart. and i mean appart. smash em if need be. turn the din screws all the way, they should come right out. that's the best way to see the inner functionings of the binding.

On the front binding piece, there are 2 kind of triangular pieces that fit over your toe, which pivot and allow your boot to come out... I think it determines how easily those things pivot.

yeah I will destroy some old binding I need to do a construction draw and a force draw plus explanation
so i just wanted to knew a little before to broke them
