Tele binding question? on line invaders

this just sounds ridiculous and fun i want to put a pair of tele bindings on some 178 line invaders. problem is that they have been mounted 3 times and the 4 was in the same holes. is it worthwhile?, i dont know much about tele bindings so yea. would it just be better to put some real binders on there?

Depends on where the holes will be for the Tele mount. If they are just fun play go for it. The pattern should be different enough that you will be able to but each is different. Good luck

I'd think you would be fine as long as the holes are a few mm away from existing ones. I mounted my one invader 4 times, the 4th mount is lasting longer than the 3rd and its probably 2mm away from the old holes. Somehow it hasnt pulled out in the past 2 seasons.

I have never teled, but I feel like you would just end up nose pressing your ski on every turn since they are so damn soft.

hey there. first of all what tele bindings are you looking at mounting? good thing is you only really need to think about the strength of the foot pad (the front section) as the heel piece receives little to no stress. depending on binding you will have a different mounting pattern (they are all very different) but i would highly recommend to stay at least a few mm from the previous mounts.

best thing though is to find a shop who excels and is familiar with tele and see what they think. make sure they know what they are talking about too.. there is a huge difference between mounting and knowing why.
