CiRKiSNow that the snow is going away I was sort of curious to see what everyone who cant afford ski camp is going to do this summer, I'd like to dedicate this post to sharing summer setups and backyard setups, happy sharing!!
CalvinStorki had a sick one. but my neighbor thought it was on his land so his stole it and burned it

gingaskierThis is the drop-in my Dad and I built last fall. My friends and I used it all winter on school days when we couldn't go to the local hill. I welded up a bunch of rails, built a few boxes, jibs and a wall ride as well. All I need to do now is sheath it with astroturf and build a take off ramp for the rails.
penutbutrnjellyHoly fucking badass. Such cool. Much envy. Wall ride? Goddamn.
I assume you mean building rail takeoffs for when all the snow's gone?
For that I highly reccomend Msnow. I like that you can carve a bit off of it, and it doesn't kill your speed as much. Also it's extremely durable and consistent. The 15 square ft of it on our small drop in has lasted almost 2 full seasons with weekly use. It also holds snow onto the steep angle well.

theabortionatorI thought he was talking about so he needs to use less snow. Using msnow for all those in runs and takeoffs would be crazy $$$$$$$$$$$
gingaskierI was talking about building a take-off for the rails when the snow is gone that is removable in the winter. I'm also going to cover the drop-in with something for the summer and to keep the snow on it in the winter. This season, we had a lot of trouble keeping snow on the steep section. Thank-you for the M-snow suggestion. I'm going to try and track down some of that for this summer.
theabortionatorCarpet works but it's not super fast.

TwinipzBuilt mine last summer
Snowflake222these are both sick, how much did it cost you, wood, turf?
JamesOi have a plastic slide in my yard, i can use that as a drop in right?
Mr.MittenMy backyard setup. Most of the wood was scrap wood, me and friends split costs on turf, and it's super fun. Any idea on how to fix the tranny's from slope to flat and from flat to jump so I don't lose so much speed?
