Will Wallisch quit competing next year?

Is tom going to come back next year after recovering and still kill it in competitions, or will he quit competition skiing? I know that tom doesnt have too many other injuries, but hes already almost 27, so i would understand if he retired from competition skiing and focused on something else instead. Hopefully he will make another project similar to the Wallisch Project next year, but i think we wont see him anymore on top of xgames or dew tour podiums. Also, with the triple becoming a norm in slopestyle, i dont think tom's knees are gona last for a couple more years.

Ive heard that he has big plans for filming next year. Also triples are not going to be stock in every event. Dew tours and FIS events may or may not be seeing triples next year.

Tom said in his recent interview with Freeskier that he plans on competing in most major slopestyle competitions. I'd love to see him back on that podium next season!!

No because there aren't big enough jumps, the olympic jumps were 20ft bigger than any other contest and we still only saw half the finalists do triples.

dude, knee replacements are cheap for a man like T-wall, he will be seen again, maybe not in Seoul in 2018 for winter olympics, but have no doubt he'll be back.

i think he'll be back and still be a factor. probably not like he was a few seasons ago though (doubt we'll ever see something like that again). even with a torn acl he was still putting down some nice runs.

I think skiers think they have to retire way earlier than they do. 27 is not too old at all to be skiing in comps if he takes care of himself

Why is everyone still on TWalls dick? Super nice dude, awesome to watch, but there are a LOT of new dudes with amazing style. TWall will do whats best for him, tore his acl once....Hes not derrick Rose son, I think hes ganna be just fine.

Guess Russ Henshaw is really fucked then since he had both his knees reconstructed. This isnt the 60's anymore. Knee surgeries are so on-point now that they can make your knee stronger than it was before the injury.

Tom in 2018 is faaaar more likely to win than tanner was in sochi. He'll be far younger and have 2 less career ending injuries than tanner. Broken ankles > torn acl
