Full Tilt sizing year to year

So I'm looking into buying some Full Tilt classics. I tried on the 2013/2014 pair at my local shop and thought they were really comfortable. I looked online and found a pair that I believe were from the 2012/2013 season, they're the red and black instead of purple and green. I checked the sizing and they have the size I wanted, but when I looked at the sizing chart it said a 28.5 was equivalent to a 10.5 and not the 11.5 that I usually wear, and that fit in the shop. So my question is did full tilt change their boot sizing between those years, or was the chart just messed up?

Doubtful, it may just be a mistake. However, it would be best to contact Full Tilt directly.

The sizing has not changed but why are you interested in shoe size. The street shoe size you wear has zero impact on the boot size you need.

But more importantly never buy boots online. Go back to that shop that fitted you and try some more boots on with him. Even if you buy online you will still need to take them back to a shop for footbeds and fitting an thi coul get very expensive if you got the boots online.

Overal don't buy boots online its rarely any cheaper in the long run. Get them fitted in a shop.

Also just to add the BSL of a 28 ft is 318 mm so the same as most 27 boots so you are actually trying a size 9 boot if you were to equate it to shoe sizes.

Just shows shoe size has nothing to do with boot sizing. The only real way to be sized is a shell check.

Awesome thanks! This might be a pretty noob question, but I'm used to buying snowboard boots, but what's the difference between a professional boot-fitting, and going to a shop and having them measure your foot on the metal thing they would have at a normal show store? Because the closest professional boot-fitter is like 2 hours away from me

a profesional wont just measure, they will adjust the boot to fit your foot.

b-kula profesional wont just measure, they will adjust the boot to fit your foot.


Yea a bootfitter will pick a boot that fits the shape of your foot the best. If they ask for your shoe size before they pick a boot, they aren't pros and you should honestly leave.
