SteezyJibberI think it was real sick.
What camera / lenses are you filming with primarily? And what do you do for color grading? It looked really good.
My biggest suggestion is change the Vimeo crop ratio. I do like cropped Vimeo vids, but not that much.

jibcrew1Thanks, I am using a canon 7d and canon t2i with a tokina 11-16, tamron 17-50, helios 58, and canon 70-200. I just use the three wheel color grade tool in premiere and adjusted the levels and contrast on them. Also the thick crop was my choice to put on it I like to shoot things wide and crop the image way down, also I didn't want to put a 2:35 crop like everyone else so I thought I'd test it out.
FDMI just watched it. Holy shit those camera movements are on point. How were you able to achieve such movement without shake?
Also I am a huge fan of the 2:35 crop my thoughts on it are keep it. It works for what you are doing.
In addition to that my two cents on what you are doing in regards to placement of the clips in the edit? What was your rhyme or reason behind it? Not judging just curious.

SteezyJibberWord, thanks for the info. I started messing around with the three wheel color grade tool last night and it's pretty good.
And yeah, that's your decision about the crop. That's part of the creative process. I know everybody uses the 2.35:1 but I mean, I think there's a reason for that. I think it looks good, and after that it starts getting a little bit too cropped.
Just my .02
jibcrew1Ya, when I re-edit it I might lighten up on the crop to see what it would look like and some of it has to do with the fact the shot has a lot of negative space in the image but it is small enough to fit in a thick crop to see what is the main thing in the shot, my best example is at 1:25 the shot with the sun coming through the leaves the 16:9 version of that shot is beautiful but there is so much extra around it, it takes away from the shot.
Lou.That was dope man. Loved the song choice even though it's been done before thought it worked well. And those shots were crisp. No critique, just respect. What body and lens did you shoot this on?
jibcrew1Also I filmed with a 7d and t2i and the typical ns three lens set up and the occasional shot with an old prime
FDMYou a vimeo plus memeber?
-AM-OP, that was so impressive. The lighting in each shot is amazing, the steadycam/glidecam/whatever is on point, and everything just looks smooth. Nice work!
skiersupremesuper super sick man great job
