Stolen Sit Ski. Brother needs a hand.

I met Matt at a party in Vancouver once and he was pumped as hell to be out shredding in a sit ski. I just heard his sit ski was stolen from his truck. One of the lamest things I've heard before.

If you are in a place to help out, a new sit ski is $5000 and he is trying to raise some funds.

for real. for just one example, i was riding a spring park full of hardasses last year, and i swear to god not even the dopest shit would get as much as a hoot from the peanut gallery. but at one point a sit skier drops, half the heads in the park turned to watch, and when the dude sent the last jump the place EXPLODED

so sick

i'd love to see this dude get a replacement sit ski, much respect for these guys

Was his truck at a ski area at the time? If so they might be able to find who did it with security cameras. I know someone who got his stolen poles back that way.

yeah, we should also try and get this fucker. not right at all. and if the dude was also paralyzed/could only use a sit ski, still doesn't justify taking another mans ski gear.

It's just whatever ski you want. I've heard different things on if the bindings are just super high din or actually just locked down. That being said, it's the chair part that's the expensive part.

What does one even do with a stolen sit ski? I can't imagine the second hand market is exactly huge...?

It takes an exceptionally prideful breed of scumbag lowlife to steal a sit ski.

On the bright side, I feel like the recovery likelihood for a sit ski must be considerably higher than a pair of skis since they're so much rarer. Unless the thief truly had no idea what he was stealing, the equipment is bound to show up at a local mountain in the future, and hopefully somebody can recognize it.
