TheDetectivesblends are really nice skis, along with nordica soul riders
gapersarefriendsyeah i skied on blends past two years, super fun skis
PanduhButtahI have a pair of chronics. Are they as buttery as the blends?
-wakes-another vote for blends. Dentes are more park oriented than all mtn. ARVti is the same shape as the dente but has a sheet of metal in the construction making it armadas around 100 under foot all mtn ski.. Also a good ski, but not as buttery as blends.
tomPietrowskiThere really is nothing that makes the al dente a park ski. as you say it uses the same shape as the arv ti. Honestly yes you can use it in the park, but it being soft means you upsize, I rode it in 188 when i normally ride 176-181 parks skis. Because of that its not a ski you can throw around easily in the park. Armada have the ar7, thall, halo, el ray and alpha all of which as much more park orientated then the al dente. the al dente is one of the best soft all mnt skis in my opinion.

Id say the PB&Js are pretty stiff from all accounts that ive read and heard about. Definitely mroe of a chargy ski.
-wakes-Don't get me wrong, I have risen the dente both inside and outside the park and it does fine. I personally consider it more of a park ski given the fact the ARV is pretty much the exact same but a tad stiffer. I mean tons of people ride dents in the park but i haven't seen many on the ARVs. Get what I'm saying?
tomPietrowskiNot really no. What do you think makes it more of a park ski? The point is if you look at the stats for the al dente it's a all mnt ski. It's too wide for the park really and you have to ski it too long for it to be a quick little ski.
Any ski can be used in the park. I used to love my automatics in the park but that does not make them a park ski.
But either way it just shows how versatile the al dente really is.
ECSTASKIThe term "park ski" is sort of a marketing gimic i think, it's like saying a Nike Mercurial boot is only good for soccer but not for football.

PanduhButtahLet's talk about skis. Not soccer shoes. I get you point and agree with you totally, but yeah let's get soccer out if this thread
-wakes-The dente is Henriks pro model... he's a park skier. Its listed on armadas website as a park ski. Recommended use on backcountry.com... park.
But anyway OP if you do want an all mtn ski that soft it can still rip, and has enough underfoot to provide a decent amount of float.
