CaptainDickbuttBecause kids' confusion, hormone changes, and general distemperment is being made out to be bipolar, ADHD, ADD, and other various diseases that in reality is just kids being kids. They're being told they're fucked up in the head, and naturally are running with it. This makes it even worse in their mind, and eventually the break down - thinking it's some psychotic rage they can't control.
The world is over-analyzing them and they, in turn, are over-analyzing themselves. Then they crack when they realize no one really cares in the long-run.

JordanButtfartIt wouldn't really eliminate this kind of violence at all. Cocaine is illegal and people still abuse it everyday. Your statement is about as accurate as assuming that since there are anti-depressants people should be cured of depression, and since there are traffic lights and stop signs stop car accidents at intersections should stop altogether. Letting a few people with serious problems ruin the rights of all people is absurd, and I for one do not agree with the outlawing of weapons. What we need is an implementation of better support systems in schools, and ways for afflicted students to reach out, rather than tell everyone to "fuck off" and go out with a bang. Unfortunately, help is far too publicized in the of teenagers, and many would rather resort to horrible actions than swallow their pride and ask for help. This isn't guns or knives that are killing people, it is a lack of discrete help and support.

PULLyou are right but it makes it a lot less accessible and many families (where the kids get the guns) would be very discouraged to buy guns and have them in the house if it were illegal. Yeah gangs might still have guns but at least they wont be around kids and anti social people

Mr.HuckMaybe the solution is to label everyone in high school as ADD, ADHD, Dyslexic, with Autism Spectrum disorder. If everyone is labeled with some kind of learning disability, maybe kids won't get singled out and harassed because they have learning issues.
