Alpha X vs Alpha 1

Can someone give some input on the comparisons of the skis, does the wider platform underfoot make it feel bulkier? Which do you prefer?

I went from an alpha 1 to the alpha x and I like the alpha x a lot more. I didn't notice any difference in "bulkiness" with the wider platform. The swingweight is about the same. I always felt like the alpha 1s were too narrow. They perform pretty similarly just skiing on trails, but having the wider platform makes jumps and rails more fun. Get the Alpha X.
