Replying to Anyone ever get shit like this?

So I had to write an essay about the most memorable moment in my life and I wrote about going to Breck last year and after getting it back my teacher asked about my skiing history and I told him I skied since I was 3 but I just got into park skiing 3 years ago and that's what i've focused on the past few seasons and he said "ahhh, that's why you do so bad in my class." I have a B in his class and other than that I get all A's. Anyone ever get the whole "Oh you're a skier( or snowboarder, skater, BMXer... pretty much any extreme sport) you must be really dumb?" kind of shit?
