i would saw it is definitly less than 55m but 37m like mottolino on facebook said could be true. if you think a superpipe is 20m width. and the hit i at a angle of about 45°.

yeah its around 37 meters. originally the jump was planned that big as I was told, but they couldn't do that to the queens because they had to stick with one castle.

Is the jump to on the left bigger than the jump on the right? If it is, I wonder if anyone would consider launching from there to the right landing, going even bigger yet? At this point I'm really doubting it, Jesper's double back seems impossible to top at this point. But again, we didn't really expect anyone to gap this thing...

I was there filming the event. You can actually see me in the GIF of the straight air near the sword.
Jesper came to that spot where could see and evaluate the transfer, near the sword, I was there filming landings of the contest.

I'm like "what's up Jesper?"
" thinking about that transfer..."
me: "you've done it a ton of times what are you thinking about?"
"No not this one, girls kicker to men landing".
In my mind I was like "you've just have to be kidding me, there's no other option right? physically impossible... come on!"

Jesper: I'm a bit afraid but looks awesome
Me: Well, totally insane, I'll get the shot if you stomp that.

First he stomps a straight massive air. That only straight air was enough to be satisfied with.
He goes back and stomps a 540 and I think he grabs it. I was quite wide so can't be 100% sure, but at least he tried. Holy cow... I was really thinking he'd stop after the 54. Goes back up and stomp the biggest double backflip ever done.
