This. I own a pair of the These and they're definitely a price point ski. They ski well, but I already snapped one ski this season (which joystick was cool as hell about and sent me a completely new pair for free) and the top sheet chips easily. However, I spent half as much as you would be dropping on a pair of j skis so I don't feel sold short or anything like that. I don't expect them to be the longest lasting ski but there's nothing wrong with that. I didn't have the funds to drop $400+ on a new pair of sticks this season so they fit the bill.
As for performance, I imagine that the these and the 90 shape that j skis makes are somewhat similar. Medium flex, pretty cambered and poppy, similar dimensions. So if you want durability and cool graphics, j's are a solid choice. Otherwise, you could spend the same amount of money and buying two pairs of skis from joystick (or surface even).
