lolololol it's funny because I work at Sugarbush and I'm pretty sure I've seen this guy around... Unless there's someone else in VT with that jacket and a white Ruroc helmet.
I once sung "Stormtrooper" by Pepper to him, but I don't think he took notice.
I don't get how it's a gaper crash, just kind of looks like checked jacket was a dick and the filmer was too busy making sure he looked good for his go pro to avoid it all.
Also, general rule, get around snowboarders on cat tracks as fast as possible, they are very liable to blow up.
Maybe its due to spending 5 days a week on the mountain, but when I see two people I dont personally know get that close well riding at speed, I GTFO as fast as possible. Anything that looks sketch I fucking get out. Getting injured because some retard tripped is not high on my list of priorities.
I dont trust other people on snow. either driving or skiing. I am always undr the assumption that if they look like gapers they will fall immediatley and everys econd they stay waxed side down i treat as a surprise.
Mr GoPro and the guy that fell over might be gapers, but the villain in this video is definitely the guy who cut in from the right. There was plenty of room on the side and suddenly coming up that close to an unexperienced rider just shows that you're a huge dick with a tiny penis.
oh for sure. when youre a competent skier you easily, subconsciously pick lines that will not even let things like that be a possibility. in that video you or i wouldve probably been on the high side of both of those tards and passing them before they had a chance to fall
to a lesser extent it's the same in driving cars. you can be a decent driver but what makes you a "good" driver IMO is driving defensively and having the awareness to drive such that one person screwing up won't result in a wreck
This. Unless I can immediately tell they're good, I stay away and assume they're going to explode and yards sale everywhere, particularly in my direction.
Both guys did nothing wrong. The gaper would be the guy bumping and cutting off the storm trooper. People need to learn how to ride and these guys were doing that. Now if they were in the park it would be a different story.
I don't understand what is funny about this. That dude totally jacked the beginner snowboarder up. The helmet was the only thing that may have been funny. What really would have been funny is if they both got up and caught up to the snake and kicked his ass.
Once saw a gaper wipe out, double eject, and saw the skis slide halfway down the hill and take out two other gapers, arguably the greatest thing I've ever seen.
