Bakerpowi read all the books and they seem to be trying so hard. i honestly cant take it seriously. i have such a picture of what it looked like to me from reading them and it does not match whatsoever. didnt particularly like how they acted it either.
if they had followed the book storyline closer it would be better, but slight details they change always hurt the show.
For example: Gendry was never taken to Dragonstone and held by Stannis, it was Edric Storm another bastard of Robert Baretheon
During the Purple Wedding, the feast was held outside, while in the book it took place in the Great Hall
Theon Greyjoy had his member removed by Ramsey and it was sent to Theon's father (this is the worst of them), in the book Ramsey sent a small piece of skin to Lord Greyjoy instead of his kids dong.
They age all the characters in the show, the Stark children are all three years old then they are in the books
Also in the books, Jaime Lannister didn't arrive in King's Landing till after Joffrey died at the Purple Wedding, in the show, well yeah.
Bakerpow - i whole heartedly agree with you sir
