Pvc vs plexi glass

I am building a rail for my backyard setup the whole thing is constructed I just need to know what to use for the part i am going to slide on I have a peice of plexi glass i can cut or I can buy some pvc. It is 13cm wide and 3m long

well since u already have the plexiglass id try that and see what happens, u could probably make a decent box out of it. (I have no idea if plexiglass slides well)

That's not a very big piece. How big are you looking to make?

PVC is dirt cheap. You can build a proper shotgun or single tube pvc for like 20 bucks.

idk 3m of plexiglass is a pretty good hunk if you ask me. i would say try the plexiglass with small half inch pvc tubes on either side as coping for edging on the box. ooohhhh that sounds buttery
