It was so graphic when Ota gets out of his car and is rolling on the road in pain and attempts to get up and collapses. This crash caused big reforms in the JGTC. The man who gets Ota out of the burning Ferrari is another racer who stopped, not a marshal. If the racer had not stopped and got him out, he would have burned to death without a doubt. JGTC and Fuji speedway were sued by Ota for negligence.
There is lots of terrible open wheel accidents that are pretty horrid but it seems sports car accidents are normally a bit more tame.
