Getting Behind the Lens

What made you get behind the lens? Was it just your pure love for cameras and the sport of skiing? I have realized over the past years that some people just hop behind the lens because they have a blown knee and aren't allowed to aggressively ski yet, but they can't stay away so they pick up a camera, a couple of friends, and just go for it. So NS, what's your reason you're behind the camera rather than in front of it?

Blew my knee last season after buying a camera only a few months before, started taking photos and ended up getting really into it.

I like to ski but never had the balls to try anything huge (I'm kinda just gettin high and sittin on the rails b&e style thinkin I'm bdog) . Being good at editing and having the chance to know some really good local skiers I've used it as a way to stay in the local scene, and now it's pretty much all I do.
