im not having much fun on the hill anymore, so many people ski now, all of my snowboard friends have switched over, its gay. theres a bunch of freestyle kids who are asses and do nothing but try to show off, the only way i have fun skiing is skiing drunk or high. and just screwing around, skiing was more fun when it wasnt so popular. does any one feel the same?

You know what. Skiing aint changed. If you were into skiing because it was the rebel culture now its not. Well now go innovate something. I have loved skiing since as early as I can rember. The park didn't matter, it was me pushing myself in the outdoors. Skiing is like a freedom, where there are no expectations. Its kinda like the quote (I know the movie sucks) in Fast and the Furious, where he goes on about racing and says 'For those ten seconds I'm free'. On the slopes I'm free relaxed and nothing matters. Standing on topof a mountain is my therapy. Thats why I love skiing and always will.

It seems like you're skiing for the wrong reasons if it's ruined for you now that it's become more popular. I don't care how many people have skis on, I ski because I love it, because it's the only thing that I can always count on to put me in a good mood. Who cares how many other people are doing it, as long as you have fun that's all that matters.

Yeah dude if you truly love skiing, it becoming popular again wouldn't matter to you. Our mountain, on the other hand is still jam packed of snowboarders and when I go to other mountains and I see more twin-tippers, it really makes me happy.

Yea seriously, my weeks are so full of dramatic shit and overwork from school i use skiing as a way out. I dont smoke to relax or to cope, i ski to relax and unravel. Now some may say do both at the same time, but that is everybody's choice. When all my friends switched to snowboarding, I never switched simply becuase i loved skiing, and i still do. Now that some are switching back, i will continue to ski for the same reasons. Jump, bomb runs, hit pow, moguls, whatever the mountain throws at me. I ski simply to have a good time, get outdoors, and unwind. Skiing is therapy

i still really like skiing but its really annoying that its getting so popular. when you see annoying little girls who follow you everywhere with twin tips even though they can't ski park for shit, its just not the same anymore.

I know the feeling, I call it 'The Hate'. I get that way when i have a mental block on a trick or skiing in general is just pissing me off. I started just skiing groomers switch, trying to learn how to carve.

there are still way more snowboarders than skiers at my hill and i would care if it was the other way around.













Today one of the 'special' kids shit all over the floor in the upper hall. I thought, 'you know what, that kid just shit all over the floor' so I decided I wouldn't do any work the rest of the day.-west

whothe fuck cares if it popular now. the more the better aslong as we can keep it safe and keep it alive. aslong as mroe kids get into jibbing the betrter our parks will get, then on tv pepole will start dying and skiing freeskiing will be pushed back to the bottom like in the 70's.
