How much does what boot you wear effect you?

All i'm saying is that I bought some $35 boots for this season and there working well for me, yet I see people spending several hundred dollars on boots and it makes me wonder if it really even makes a difference at all.

Can't tell if troll... boots are the most important piece of ski equipment. Go to a bootfitter and get good boots.

A great NS bootfitter recently helped me understand that "pain free" is NOT necessarily the same as a proper fit. The fit that comfortably and efficiently transfers power from your body to the skis is the proper fit.
