So the other day, i was at loveland, skiing some mellow pow and i met up with my friend.I was going to take one more run with him, then meet my family for lunch. I texted my dad, "Last run. See you soon." as soon as i sent the text, i knew i had made a mistake. I soon forgot about it though. I skied some good trees, and then popped out to ski some crud under the lift. I go to make a turn, one ski gets caught in a wetter, heavier crud push pile, and my skis cross. i fall over my right shoulder, but my right ski is pinning my left ski down. i hear a 'snap' as i fall. as i stand up i dont realize my skis broken. I continue skiing until i realize one ski tip is higher than the other. I then realized what i had done by texting "last run."
The worst part of this is that two weeks before, i busted one of my lines skiing some trees. the pair i was using was my secondary pair: a pair of like 2008 salomon guns that i got for cheap.
i paid 30 bucks to get bindings put on a ski i would break the next day.
