I was just wondering what place you guys think would be the best place to go on my next trip out of those four. Please keep in mind that I have already been to PC and it was awesome. I am mainly a park skier but I also love pow. PC is obvously the best for Park but can you guys please tell me what would be best for powder.

Well if you come to PC you don't have to ski park city. You can ride alta powder mountain snowbird or any of the other sick resorts in utah.

Vail sucks. Go to Tahoe if you want good terrain. Especially Squaw. As in cliffs and steeps. Not sure about park. But they are having a really bad winter this year. If you want good snow, go to Jackson.

Tahoe's parks aren't bad either. Northstar and Heavenly's features are always killer. Boreal's fun for night skiing as well, but during the day there's usually a ton of people (on weekends at least)

Utah had a horrible start this winter, we're doing better now, but Jackson is still doing better than just about anyone.
Also, I just remembered that Idaho is having a really bad winter too. So skip SV and Tahoe this winter, as awesome as Tahoe is, unless you don't care about snow cover.

Tahoe might be the best in terms of amount of skiing in one area. kind of the same deal with PC/Utah, too.

Yeah, but he's talking about a trip next year, and generally Utah does just as well, if not better, than Jackson.

If you are concerned with riding powder you can't make this kind of a decision this far ahead of time. You pretty much have to wait until a couple weeks before your trip, look at how much snow each place has received and what the extended forecast is looking like. The only places you are usually guaranteed to get new snow at any given time through out the year is Oregon, Washington and BC. It snows almost constantly up there. And Whistler has an amazing park as well.

There probably won't be snow anywhere. Lake Tahoe is the worst place in the world for backcountry skiing right now. Even the parks are down this year. CO is probably your best bet.
All times are Eastern (-5)
